Privacy Policy
This Policy explains how Sentinel Security, operated through zunex.org (“Sentinel,” “we,” or “us”), handles personal information when you visit, create an account, run reports, enable monitoring, contact us, or purchase a subscription.
1. Information we collect
We collect account information such as your name, email address, encrypted password credential, email-verification status, plan, and account settings. We store submitted domain names, scan reports, findings, monitoring schedules, verification records, feedback, support messages, and service activity.
2. Technical and usage information
We may process IP addresses, browser and device information, timestamps, requested pages, session identifiers, security events, rate-limit records, and diagnostic logs. This helps operate the service, preserve sessions, prevent abuse, investigate errors, and protect users.
3. Website scan information
When you request a scan, Sentinel processes the target address and publicly observable responses needed to produce the report. Reports may include public headers, certificate details, DNS information, exposed technologies, and other public security signals. Do not submit private credentials or confidential content.
4. Payments
Paddle processes checkout, payment methods, taxes, invoices, refunds, and subscription administration as merchant of record. Sentinel receives identifiers and billing status needed to activate and manage your plan, but does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers.
5. How we use information
We use information to provide accounts and reports; perform requested and scheduled checks; send verification, billing, monitoring, and security messages; process subscriptions; provide support; enforce limits and policies; prevent fraud and abuse; troubleshoot and improve Sentinel; and meet legal obligations.
6. Legal bases
Depending on your location, we process information to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, comply with legal duties, and act on consent where consent is legally required. You may withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the applicable basis.
7. When we share information
We share only what is reasonably necessary with infrastructure, hosting, email, DNS, security, analytics, support, and payment providers; professional advisers; authorities where legally required; and a successor involved in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale. We do not sell personal information.
8. International processing
Our providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on contractual or other lawful safeguards for international transfers. Provider-specific protections may vary by service and location.
9. Retention
We retain account and service information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for security, dispute resolution, backups, and legal compliance. Billing records may be retained longer because they are financial records. Rate-limit and diagnostic records are generally kept only as long as operationally necessary.
10. Security
We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, including access restrictions, secure transport, and one-way password hashing. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Contact us promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.
11. Cookies and local storage
Sentinel uses essential cookies or similar storage for authentication, security, session continuity, and preferences. Payment pages may use Paddle technologies governed by Paddle’s notices. If we introduce non-essential analytics or advertising technologies, we will provide choices where required.
12. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection; withdraw consent; or complain to a data-protection authority. Some information cannot be deleted immediately where retention is required for billing, fraud prevention, security, or legal claims. We may verify your identity before completing a request.
13. Children
Sentinel is intended for business and professional users and is not directed to children. Do not create an account if you are not legally able to agree to our Terms.
14. Changes
We may update this Policy as Sentinel or applicable requirements change. The updated date appears above. We will provide additional notice for material changes where appropriate.
