Refund Policy
Sentinel offers a free tier so you can evaluate the service before purchasing. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, paid subscription charges are final and non-refundable.
1. Free evaluation before purchase
The free tier lets prospective customers assess the general service and report style before choosing a paid plan. Paid features, limits, billing frequency, and price are displayed before checkout.
2. Subscription cancellation
You may cancel through the Billing section and Paddle customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewal; it does not automatically refund the current billing period. Unless Paddle or applicable law requires otherwise, access continues until the end of that paid period.
3. Generally non-refundable charges
We do not normally issue refunds for change of mind, unused time, partial billing periods, failure to cancel before renewal, dissatisfaction with an informational scan result, or features that were accurately described before purchase.
4. Exceptions
We will review duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, confirmed billing errors, a material failure to provide purchased access that we cannot remedy, and requests protected by mandatory consumer law. Approval is not guaranteed unless required by law.
5. How to request review
Contact us promptly with your account email, transaction or invoice number, purchase date, and reason. Because Paddle is the merchant of record, refund requests and approved refunds are processed through Paddle. You may also request billing assistance through Paddle Buyer Support.
6. Processing and access
If a refund is approved, timing depends on Paddle and your payment provider. Refunded access may be ended or reduced to the free tier. Fraudulent, abusive, or chargeback-related activity may result in account restriction while the matter is investigated.
7. Mandatory rights prevail
Nothing in this Policy excludes refund, cancellation, withdrawal, or other consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Paddle may approve or require a refund under its buyer terms, payment-network rules, or applicable law.
